HDI Global has promoted Yasuyuki Harada to general manager, distribution and marketing, effective 1 March 2026, the company announced on LinkedIn on Monday.
Harada joined the company in 2024 and was deputy general manager for market management prior to his promotion. He brings more than 30 years of industry experience, and has held various senior leadership roles across his stints at Gallagher, Sompo Japan, Berjaya Sompo Insurance in Malaysia, Sompo Thailand, Nipponkoa Insurance Company, Nippon Insurance Company of Europe, and Nippon Fire & Marine Insurance.
“With his proven leadership, deep expertise, and extensive industry experience, we are confident that Yasuyuki will continue to strengthen HDI’s distribution and marketing strategy and contribute to our long‑term growth and market development,” the company said in a statement.
Harada’s promotion comes after HDI’s several executive moves announced last month: Mark Mackay’s promotion to global head of energy and power, succeeding Franz Adamczyk, effective 1 March; Haris Michaels’ promotion to head of energy and power, Eastern Region, also effective 1 March; Kelly Carroll’s appointment as its Southern Region market manager based in Melbourne; and Takanobu Saigo’s appointment as head of claims, effective 1 February.
