Nick Fraccalvieri has been designated as chief executive officer of global facultative for Aon plc’s reinsurance solutions, succeeding Andrew Laing, effective March 1, 2026, the company announced on Monday.
Fraccalvieri joined Aon in 2023 to lead the firm’s Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA) facultative reinsurance operations, a post he will retain following his latest designation. He brings more than 25 years of industry experience, having held a range of senior leadership roles across regional and international markets.
In his new role, Fraccalvieri will work closely with colleagues across Aon’s risk capital platform, with ceded facultative at the core of the proposition, and lead the development of new digital capabilities and talent initiatives.
“With Nick’s market experience, proven leadership, and strong understanding of facultative reinsurance, we are confident that we remain exceptionally well-positioned to transition into the next chapter of growth and deliver even greater value to clients across our facultative reinsurance solutions,” Andy Marcell, CEO of global solutions for Aon.
Laing will now focus fully on his responsibilities as UK CEO of Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions, a role to which he was appointed in July 2025.
The latest executive movements come after a series of designations earlier this month: Joe Peiser as CEO of risk capital, Martijn de Lange as managing director for transaction solutions across Asia-Pacific, Alistair Clarke as head of specialty for Australia, Karl Hamann as CEO of the Philippines, and Darren Oliver as head of market development for APAC health solutions.
