Coface has appointed Carmen Chow as head of commercial for Hong Kong, effective 1 April 2026, the trade credit insurer announced in a media release on Wednesday.

Chow has worked at Coface for five years and, prior to her promotion, served as head of account management, Japanese solutions for Asia-Pacific.

Chris Murphy, chief executive and general manager of Coface Hong Kong, welcomed Chow to the team: “Her customer-centric leadership, strong partnership mindset, and ability to translate complex risk insights into opportunities make her well suited to drive our next phase of growth in this dynamic market.”

Chow’s appointment follows Coface’s February release of its Financial Year 2025 results, which showed Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions leading global growth, both at 4.6%, with APAC recording €130.1m (approx. US$150m) in revenue.
