Coface has appointed Antoine Pachoud as head of commercial for Japan, the trade credit insurer announced on Tuesday (1 September). He also takes responsibility for Japanese Solutions, the company’s approach to serving Japanese multinational clients worldwide, which combines credit insurance and business information services.
Pachoud has spent 14 years at Coface. He moves from Paris, where he has been France and Western Europe CGS director since March 2023, having earlier served as commercial underwriting director for France and Western Europe and as a key account manager handling global accounts.
“With more than a decade of experience at Coface, Antoine brings extensive expertise in commercial leadership, strategic client management and multinational programmes,” the trade credit insurer said in a LinkedIn post.
The appointment follows a series of commercial moves across the insurer’s Asia-Pacific business, including James Yau’s return as head of commercial for Southeast Asia in June and Carmen Chow’s promotion to head of commercial for Hong Kong in April.
