Martijn de Lange returns to Aon as APAC managing director for transaction solutions 

He rejoins from BMS Group, having previously served as Aon’s Asia-Pacific director of tax for transaction liability insurance.

Aon has named Martijn de Lange managing director for transaction solutions across Asia-Pacific, marking his return to the firm’s regional senior leadership team, Murray Wood, Aon’s specialty products leader, said in a LinkedIn post on Tuesday, 10 Dec.  

Based in Hong Kong, de Lange first joined Aon in 2019, where he served as director of tax for the transaction liability insurance division in Asia-Pacific for nearly a year. He now rejoins Aon from BMS Group, where he helped establish the Asia platform as a founding managing director for its private equity, M&A, and tax operations.

Before entering the brokerage space, he served as head of tax and M&A for Arcadis, where he was responsible for tax and M&A affairs across 14 Asian countries. 

The appointment follows several high-profile leadership changes from Aon, including the appointment of Alistair Clarke who has moved from the UK to lead the broker’s specialty business in AustraliaKarl Hamann has also been named CEO of the Philippines with Darren Oliver transitioning to become head of market development for APAC Health Solutions.
