Marsh McLennan has announced Toni Ferrier as their new CEO of Marsh McLennan New Zealand and President of Marsh New Zealand.
Ferrier will be based in Auckland and report to David Bryant, CEO of Marsh McLennan Pacific, and Josh Roach — once he takes up his role as President, Marsh Pacific on January 1st 2024.
In her new role, Ferrier will lead Marsh McLennan’s operations in New Zealand, focusing on delivering innovative solutions to clients around the country. She will also work closely with Martin Lewington, CEO of Mercer New Zealand, to expand Marsh McLennan’s superannuation, health and benefits, and investment capabilities in New Zealand.
Ferrier brings extensive experience to her new position. She joins from AIG where she was most recently Non-Executive Director for Australia and previously held the position of CEO New Zealand. She has also worked in various leadership positions at firms, including AIG, Vero, Lumley, Wesfarmers, and Crombie Lockwood. Since 2020, she has been a board member of the Insurance Council of New Zealand Te Kāhui Inihua o Aotearoa.
