Aon has named Mandy Phan as the new Asia head of production, Treaty, within its Reinsurance Solutions business, the company announced on LinkedIn on Monday.
Based in Singapore, Phan joins from Miller Insurance Services, where she worked for over a year as Senior Treaty Broker, APAC. She will report to Musa Adlan, Aon’s managing director of Asia and head of Southeast Asia, Reinsurance.
Phan is stepping into the new role with more than 18 years of industry experience across the reinsurance and legal sectors.
According to Aon’s announcement, Phan “will lead new treaty business development across Asia with a particular focus on Southeast Asia, primarily driving growth, deepening client partnerships and delivering … reinsurance solutions to help our clients make better decisions to protect and grow their business.”
Phan also brings expertise in treaty pricing and structuring, capital advisory, product development, and strategic planning for Asian markets. She previously held senior roles for firms like Hannover Re, Guy Carpenter, and Asia Reinsurance Brokers.
This announcement follows Aon’s other appointments and hires in its businesses across the APAC region in the past week. In India, Sushant Sarin was named Head of Strategy and Commercial Risk Solutions, while Vikas Pareek was tapped lead transaction solutions practice. Meanwhile, in Hong Kong, Tina Chong joined the company as a Risk Engineer.
