Matthew Dick has been promoted to Chubb’s Head of Claims for Australia and New Zealand, the business announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday, 5 August.
Dick has been with Chubb since 2007, during which he has held a variety of roles in specialty claims across the United Kingdom and the Asia Pacific. Before his appointment, he served as the Casualty, Financial Lines, and Multinational Claims Manager for the APAC region, operating out of Sydney.
In his new remit, he will lead the claims function and teams in ANZ, specialising in strategy, service, operational effectiveness, and customer satisfaction, Chubb said.
The business added that Dick “has established himself as a highly respected professional and leader at Chubb, bringing a wealth of experience in complex exposures and major losses.”
Last week, Chubb also elevated Brian Hogan, who has been with the firm for over 14 years, as Head of Accident and Health for ANZ.
