Yiyi Huang has relocated to Ho Chi Minh City to serve as Manulife Vietnam’s Chief Risk Officer, the business announced on LinkedIn on Thursday, 21 August.
Huang has been with Manulife for 15 years, having held roles in Canada and, most recently, in Hong Kong as Assistant Vice President, In-Force Management Asia.
She brings extensive experience in actuarial, including financial risk management, asset/liability management, and corporate development.
In her new remit, Huang is tasked with implementing Manulife’s global risk frameworks and providing independent oversight across all principal risks in the Vietnam market, the firm stated in its post.
Back in April, Manulife Philippines and Manulife China Bank Life appointed Amy Gochuico as President and Chief Executive Officer for its bancassurance joint venture with China Banking Corporation.
