India-based Niyam Group has appointed Aditi Chaturvedi as director, actuarial, the business announced on Friday.
She moves after spending four years at Accenture, most recently serving as actuarial senior principal. Earlier in her career, she held roles at American International Group and XL Catlin.
“She will play a central role in developing the actuarial capabilities that underpin our underwriting, bringing greater insight and rigour to pricing, risk selection, and portfolio management”, the reinsurance group said in a LinkedIn post.
Her appointment is the latest in a series of hires by Niyam. Last month, the company appointed Vishakha R.M. as a non-executive director. In July, Lovenish Kumar joined as director of operations to oversee management for Syndicate 2047 while Prathemesh Apte was appointed as director, risk and compliance.
Niyam Group launched in January, with Bobby Swarup as founder and CEO. Its Syndicate 2047 received Lloyd’s approval earlier this year and began underwriting in April.
