Kuala Lumpur-headquartered Progressive Insurance Bhd (PIB) has hired Steven Lo Yeong Chern as Chief Financial Officer, the insurance company announced on Friday (25 September).

PIB said Chern brings “extensive experience in local and regional financial reporting and finance operations within the insurance industry, as well as broad operational and reporting experience across diverse sectors, including insurance, plantation, trading, construction and manufacturing”.

The general insurer added that Chern has managed, motivated and led teams, while working across a range of dynamic business environments and taking on new responsibilities and challenges.
