Samuel Bye returns to AXA XL as Head of Cyber for Asia and the Middle East

Samuel Bye has rejoined AXA XL, returning as Head of Cyber for Asia and the Middle East, the global (re)insurer announced in a company statement on LinkedIn today (4 June 2024).

In his new role, Bye will be responsible for driving the growth of the business’s cyber insurance solutions across the region while managing its recently built-out Cyber team, AXA XL said in its announcement.

Bye returns having spent nearly a year as Head of Cyber, Asia Pacific at Tokio Marine Kiln. Prior, he had been with AXA XL Singapore for three and half years, serving most recently as Cyber and Tech PI Manager, Asia and the Middle East. His background also includes seven years with Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), now known as Allianz Commercial, in London.
