Ajey Hegde has been appointed as Zurich Kotak General Insurance’s new Head of Commercial Insurance, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Hegde joins Zurich Kotak following the company’s majority stake acquisition by Zurich Insurance Group. He moves from TATA AIG General Insurance Company, where he has spent over seven years working in numerous leadership roles, most recently as its Executive Vice President.
Based in Mumbai, Hegde will bring over 21 years of industry experience. He has gained expertise from taking on underwriting and managerial roles for numerous firms, including Pioneer Insurance Services, Future Generali India Insurance, SBI General Insurance, and Marsh India.
