Arch Insurance Australia has appointed Andrew Whitlock as Northern Region Casualty Underwriting Manager, effective immediately, the company said in a press release on Thursday.
Sydney-based Whitlock joins the business from Chubb, where he served as casualty segment leader for the Major Accounts Division. He has more than 10 years of insurance experience in both the UK and Australia, and has also worked in broking roles at Brown & Brown in London.
In his new role, Whitlock reports to Michelle Armstrong, casualty underwriting manager, and will oversee underwriting and broker relationships across New South Wales, the Australian Capital Territory, and Queensland.
“Andrew is an excellent addition to our team, bringing a breadth of technical expertise, underwriting, and leadership experience,” Armstrong commented. “His strong reputation and ability to build lasting broker relationships will be key as we continue to grow our relevance across the northern region.”
