Lloyd’s managing agent Talbot Underwriting has appointed Grace Yeap as property underwriter in Singapore, Rob Hands, the firm’s Singapore CEO, announced on LinkedIn.

Yeap joins from AXA XL, where she underwrote crisis management and special risks. She has also held underwriting roles at Chubb across specialty and commercial lines.

Hands said he was delighted to welcome Yeap to the team, adding she was a “very exciting addition to the property team.”

Talbot, which operates as part of the AIG group via Lloyd’s, writes across more than 20 specialty lines, including property, marine, aviation and political risk. It is headquartered in London and has offices in New York and Singapore, with more than 300 staff across those three locations.
