Ben MacCarthy is returning to Marsh, having been appointed Insurer Consulting Group (ICG) Leader for Asia, the company announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday (1 July).
Singapore-based MacCarthy rejoins Marsh from WTW, where he most recently served as Head of Casualty, Asia.
He brings nearly two decades of industry experience, having initially joined Marsh in Brisbane, Australia, in 2007, before moving with the brokerage to Sydney and eventually Hong Kong in 2016. He then spent four years with Zurich in Hong Kong before his move to WTW.
MacCarthy’s return follows another leadership appointment made by Marsh Asia in the last three months. In April, the firm appointed Astrid Suryapranata as the Mercer Marsh Benefits Leader for Indonesia.
