Global risk and reinsurance specialist Guy Carpenter has announced the appointment of Blake Dimitrijevic as its new Head of Capital Advisory for the Asia Pacific region, effective immediately.
Dimitrijevic is based in Hong Kong and reports directly to Tony Gallagher, CEO of Guy Carpenter Asia Pacific.
The Capital Advisory team provides a range of solutions and advisory services to assist clients’ complex capital and funding needs. These include support relating to regulatory concerns, asset and liability management, reinsurance assistance for M&A operations, rating agency-related support, and portfolio optimisation. The team also provides solutions that aim to enhance clients’ capital fungibility and return on equity.
Dimitrijevic will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience from his previous roles. Most recently, he was Head of Property & Casualty Business Management for Asia Pacific at Swiss Re. His 17-year tenure at the global reinsurer saw him working across different executive roles in non-life, life, health, structured solutions, and group treasury functions in both Asia and London.
