Marsh has announced the promotion of Brent Clawson to Placement Leader, Asia, effective January 2025.
Singapore-based Clawson was previously Insurer Consulting Group Leader, Asia at Marsh, a role he held since September 2023 when he first joined the business.
Prior to joining Marsh, Clawson served as Chief Broking Officer, Asia at Aon for over five years, where he was responsible for developing and executing broking strategy across Aon’s Commercial Risk business in Asia, focusing on client advocacy and carrier relationships.
His previous roles include Director of Broking at Aon and Regional Manager Asia, MidCorporate Underwriting at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty (AGCS), where he managed a team of 11 production underwriters across property, casualty, engineering and workers compensation lines.
Clawson holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Risk Management from Illinois State University. He is also a chartered property casualty underwriter.
