Chaucer Group has appointed Victoria Tan as property direct and facultative underwriter in Singapore, the specialty (re)insurer said on Thursday.

Tan brings more than 30 years of international experience in property underwriting and portfolio management, having held senior leadership roles at Munich Re, AIG, Swiss Re and Chubb across Asia and the US.

“Her deep market expertise, client-focused approach and proven ability to deliver profitable growth will play an important role as we continue to expand our property offering,” Chaucer said on LinkedIn.

Tan joins as Chaucer strengthens its Singapore and Asia-Pacific leadership. Earlier this year, the company appointed Les Loh as chief executive officer for Singapore, while Dan Bryan took on the role of head of reinsurance for Asia-Pacific.

The China Re-owned (re)insurer reported an 11.3% increase in revenue to CNY 22.3bn in 2025, while its combined ratio improved to 78.52% and return on economic capital reached 18.1%.
