ERGO Insurance (Thailand) PCL has announced the appointment of Isorasak Thesratanavong as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective from 1 May 2025, pending regulatory approval.

Thesratanavong will succeed Till Boehmer, who stays with the business to assume the newly created role of Deputy CEO on the same date.

Thesratanavong joins ERGO from AIG, where he has served as CEO for Thailand since 2019. His previous roles also include CEO of Direct Asia Thailand from 2018 to 2019 and CEO of Sompo Insurance Thailand from 2015 to 2017.

Commenting on the appointment, Theo Kokkalis, Chairman of the Board of Management at ERGO International AG, said, “Isorasak brings a wealth of insurance expertise and deep understanding of the local market, which will be key in unlocking further growth potential and driving continued innovation.”

Boehmer, who is taking on the Deputy CEO role, joined ERGO Thailand in 2022, having previously worked for 13 years at Munich Re.

“Till has successfully developed our market position in Thailand and strengthened the market position of ERGO Group. Combining organic growth with M&A’s and re-branding, he successfully aligned that momentum for sustainable growth in the years ahead,” Kokkalis said.
