Bupa has announced the appointment of Fiona Harris to the role of Hong Kong Managing Director. The appointment is subject to regulatory approval, but she is expected to commence in the new position on October 3rd 2023.
Harris, who replaces the outgoing Andrew Merrilees, will move to Hong Kong from the United Kingdom to take up the new position. She is no stranger to Bupa, having notched up 30 years of service with the company in the UK, including as Finance Director and Director of Capital Management.
In her new role, Harris will be responsible for the growth of Bupa Hong Kong and Quality HealthCare Medical Services in the country.
Speaking on the new appointment, Nick Stone, Chief Executive Officer, Bupa Asia Pacific, commented, “Fiona’s appointment comes at a pivotal time as Bupa strives to deliver on our ambition of being the most customer-centric healthcare organisation.”
