Gallagher India has appointed Akshay Manocha as Branch Leader for its Mumbai operations, the company announced on Linkedin. Manocha brings nearly 20 years of experience across insurance broking, client relationship management, and business development.

He moves from Howden where he served as Executive Vice President from January 2024 to April 2025. Prior to this was at Marsh India, also based in Mumbai.

In its announcement, Gallagher India stated: “He has successfully led teams, built strong client portfolios, and delivered bespoke risk solutions across industries.” The company added that it looks forward to his contributions to the Mumbai branch and broader business operations.

Earlier in his career, Manocha spent over six years at ICICI Lombard, advancing from Assistant Vice President to Deputy Vice President within the Corporate Solutions division. He also held the position of Associate Vice President at Aon Global in New Delhi from 2015 to 2016.
