HDI has appointed Kelly Carroll as its Southern Region market manager based in Melbourne, the business announced on LinkedIn on Friday.
Carroll joins the company after 23 years at QBE Insurance, where she most recently served as broker relationship lead for distribution. She has more than 30 years of industry experience, with prior stints at Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Group, Marsh, Alexander & Alexander Limited, and Gow-Gates Insurance Brokers.
“Kelly is recognised for building trusted partnerships across global and local broker networks, leading high‑performing teams, and delivering innovative, value‑driven solutions,” HDI said in a statement. “Having a strong track record in targeting new business, alongside disciplined renewal strategies, we look forward to Kelly contributing towards HDI’s continued momentum.”
Commenting on the Carroll’s appointment, Stephen Jones, head of market management, Australasia, at HDI said: “We are delighted to have Kelly’s in-depth knowledge of the market and valued industry relationships on the team … to drive strategic growth in the Southern Region and help deliver exceptional results for our business partners.”
Carroll’s appointment follows Takanobu Saigo’s designation as HDI Global Japan’s new head of claims, effective 1 February 2026.
