HDI Global has launched Climate Consulting, a service designed to help businesses assess and mitigate climate-related risks.
The initiative provides companies with data-driven insights and operational recommendations to address climate risks. HDI added that the service offers location-specific analysis of chronic and acute physical climate risks, aiming to let businesses develop targeted mitigation measures.
Lars Regner, Head of Resilience Services at HDI Risk Consulting, spoke on the reason for the strategic move: “With Climate Consulting, we are addressing the growing demand from our clients for actionable, operational recommendations that enhance climate resilience.”
HDI added that Climate Consulting will use data-driven recommendations and on-site assessments to help companies identify and manage risks. The business plans to present the new service during its online ‘Resilience Week,’ which is scheduled for March 17- 21.
“Climate change is advancing, and even in the absence of immediate natural catastrophes, businesses must recognise their vulnerabilities and take proactive steps to protect themselves,” summarised Dr. Dirk Höring, Member of the Executive Board of HDI Global.
