Jude Cross has been officially named as Allianz Commercial’s Regional Head of Property for Asia, after holding the position on an interim basis since June. His appointment officially took effect from October 1st.
Cross will report to Christian Sandric, Regional Managing Director, Asia, at Allianz, and he will also maintain a matrix reporting line to Michael Martin, the Global Head of Property.
Cross brings more than two decades of industry knowledge to his newly appointed role. He started his career with Allianz in 2016 as a Senior Underwriter and the Regional Practice Group Leader for Chemicals, Pharma and F&B. He then moved on to the role of Regional Head of Allianz Risk Consulting in 2019, before being promoted to the Interim Regional Head of Property earlier this year.
Prior to joining Allianz, Cross worked at Chubb for six years as a Senior Risk Engineer and also spent seven years at Zurich as a Senior Property Underwriter.
