Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Oceania has announced leadership changes, appointing four new executives to its top management to support what it described as its next phase of growth across Australia and New Zealand, the company said in a LinkedIn post on October 2.

The insurer named Hajime Takeda as Deputy General Manager & Chief Operating Officer, David Hall as Chief Revenue Officer, Anna Isenberg as Chief People Officer, and Go Mandai as Chief Broker & Customer Officer.

Before their new roles, Takeda had been COO since January 2021, Hall was Head of Distribution from August 2024, and Anna Isenberg served as Head of Human Resources for MSIG Oceania since January 2023.

MSI Oceania said the appointments are intended to support continuity, strengthen strategic focus, and provide direct representation in top management.

The appointments follow a capacity partnership announced on October 1, when Allstate Underwriting Agencies said it had entered a multi-year agreement with Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance to expand its farm sector offering in Australia.
