Liberty Specialty Markets has announced the appointment of Nicole Lim as its Chief Executive & Principal Officer for Singapore, effective January 2nd 2024 — subject to regulatory approval.

Based in Singapore, Lim will report to Matthew Jackson, Liberty’s Head of Asia. She will be principally tasked with managing Liberty’s Singapore office and spearheading its market engagement efforts.

Lim is not new to Liberty, having originally joined the company in 2003. Since then, she has held several senior underwriting and management roles at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Axis Insurance, where she has been the Head of Asia and Principal Officer for Singapore for the last five years.

On the hire, Jackson commented, “We are thrilled to welcome Nicole back to Liberty. Nicole returns with broad experience in underwriting and management roles. Nicole’s market and client relationships across Singapore and broader Asia as well as her proven leadership skills will be a significant boost to our growing Asia Pacific business.”
