Insurance broking firm Oneglobal has appointed George (Xing Yu) Liu as head of Chinese client services, the company announced today on LinkedIn.
Liu has nearly two decades of professional experience, with more than 15 years specifically in the insurance industry across Asia and the United States. Before joining Oneglobal, he worked at Willis Towers Watson (WTW) in Singapore and Shanghai, where his work focused on financial lines and transactional risk insurance.
At Oneglobal, Liu will lead efforts to support the firm’s Chinese corporate clients and liaise with regional teams to deliver insurance solutions, particularly in directors and officers (D&O) and mergers & acquisitions (M&A) insurance. He will work with teams across the region to tailor insurance offerings and strategic support for clients, the announcement said.
On Thursday, Oneglobal also named Geovenn Lim as its new director, marine. He is tasked to lead and grow the Marine P&I segment and deliver “pragmatic and client-focused insurance solutions to support shipowners in navigating complex risks,” the company said.
