QBE appointed Ian Fantozzi as Group Executive, Technology and Operations, pending regulatory approval, the business announced in a statement on LinkedIn.

London-based Fantozzi brings 25 years of experience and joins after more than two decades at Beazley, where he held several senior roles, most recently serving as CEO of Beazley Digital since March 2021.

Andrew Horton, Group CEO, noted Fantozzi’s extensive experience, including a strong background in digital transformation. “His expertise in developing and delivering intuitive digital insurance solutions will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our digital capabilities,” Horton said.

Fantozzi’s previous roles at Beazley included Group COO between July 2011 to June 2021. He also served as Head of Underwriting & Claims Operations for the UK and Rest of World.
