Sedgwick on Friday announced that Stephen Kerr had been appointed Chief Executive Officer for the Asia region, effective immediately. He takes over from Veronica Grigg, who previously held the position.
Singapore-based Kerr brings over 33 years of experience in the claims and loss-adjusting industry and first joined Sedgwick in 1995.
He has served in a number of key roles for the business, including interim CEO for Asia earlier in 2023 and most recently as regional Chief Operating Officer (COO).
“Given Stephen’s successful tenure as COO in Asia, he will lead and drive the business to grow and support the changing marketplace to ensure the success of our company,” says Paul White, Regional CEO, International.
“I am confident with his expertise in operations, loss adjusting, and outstanding leadership, he will continue to transform the business and further strengthen the work for our clients and colleagues in the region,” White added.
Speaking on his new role, Kerr says, “We will continue to grow Sedgwick’s business and resources throughout Asia. In my work in Asia over the past two years, and now stepping into the role as CEO, my focus is on our people that continue to deliver outstanding service to our clients across nine countries in the region.”
