(Re)in Summary

• GXS Bank has partnered with Singlife to embed personal accident insurance into its new investment platform, GXS Invest.
• The initial product is the Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (Class G), offering low-risk investments with no lock-in period.
• Eligible customers receive accident cover of up to three times their investment, capped at S$100,000.

GXS Bank has partnered with Singlife to offer embedded personal accident insurance alongside its newly launched digital investment platform, GXS Invest, the companies have announced.

At launch, GXS Invest will offer customers access to the Fullerton SGD Cash Fund (Class G), a money market fund managed by Fullerton Fund Management. A key feature of this fund, when accessed through GXS Invest, is the inclusion of complimentary group personal accident insurance underwritten by Singlife.

Eligible customers who invest in the fund via GXS Invest will be automatically covered for up to three times their investment amount, capped at S$100,000 (US$77,821). The cover is designed to provide additional protection while customers grow their savings through low-risk investment products.

Mark Yuen, Chief Business Development Officer at Fullerton Fund Management, said: “Beyond yield enhancement, this exclusive share class includes personal accident coverage, offering an added layer of protection that’s rarely found in cash management products.”

According to GXS Bank, the decision to launch with a money market fund reflects customer demand for simple, low-risk investment options that allow for flexibility and liquidity. There is no lock-in period for investments made through GXS Invest, and customers can redeem their investments at any time, with proceeds typically returned within one to two working days.

GXS Bank indicated it plans to add more funds to the GXS Invest platform over the next 12 months to address varying investment preferences.
