Vanessa Teo promoted to Deputy CEO of Great American’s Singapore branch

Great American Insurance has announced the promotion of Vanessa Teo to Deputy Chief Executive Officer of its Singapore Branch.

Teo has been with the business since the establishment of the Singapore Branch in 2014 and had been serving as Chief Financial & Operating Officer.

In a company statement, Great American said that Teo had been “instrumental in leading the startup and creating the branch infrastructure, which included finance, business and operations functions.”

In her new role, Teo will continue to oversee the finance and operations of the Singapore Branch and take on broader strategic responsibilities, the business added.

Prior to joining Great American, Teo has gained industry experience in roles at QBE Asia, MetLife, GE Insurance Solutions, IAG, and ACE Insurance, and AIG.
