Leah Mooney has joined WTW as its Pacific Consulting Leader for Technology, Cyber, and Privacy Risk, the business announced on LinkedIn on Wednesday.

In her new role, she will support clients in navigating complex digital and emerging risks, as well as strengthen the firm’s ability to provide market-leading risk services.

Prior to joining, Mooney was a Director at Sydney-based KPMG Australia. She has over 20 years of experience in legal, regulatory, governance, risk, and compliance, including serving as Senior Legal Officer for Cybersecurity and Privacy at the University of the Sunshine Coast, as well as Special Counsel at MinterEllison.

Ben Di Marcos, Cyber and Technology Industry Leader at Willis, expressed confidence in Mooney’s appointment, saying that she “is known across the industry for her ability to provide practical advice that spans insurance, risk management, legal risks, and stakeholder obligations.”
