WTW has appointed Ben Dunston as Placement Leader, Asia for its Corporate Risk & Broking business, the company announced through a statement on LinkedIn.

In its announcement, the global broker said that, in his new role, Dunston will have overall placement responsibility for the Large and Multinational accounts division, across all lines of business and countries within WTW’s Asia network.

Dunston rejoined WTW in 2019 as Head of Broking and Placement, Asia and brings over two decades of experience in the insurance sector to his new role.

His career trajectory has seen him hold several key positions, including Head of Marine, Singapore, and Specie Regional Underwriting Manager for APAC at Chubb, where he worked for nearly seven years. Before his tenure at Chubb, Dunston was an Underwriter for Fine Art & Specie at Pembroke Managing Agency.

His extensive experience also includes nine years at Willis, prior to its rebranding as WTW, between 2001 and 2010, including as Executive Director for Financial & Executive Risks.
