Willis has appointed Cheryl Lee to lead its financial lines business in Singapore, strengthening its leadership team in a key Asia Pacific market, the global broker announced on LinkedIn.
In her new role, Lee will report to Albert Andrew and will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management of the Singapore-based team, with a mandate to expand the broker’s financial lines capabilities and client offering.
Lee joins from Aon, where she most recently served as Associate Director in the Financial Services and Professions Group and Cyber Leader for Singapore. During her six years at Aon, she held a number of roles across the financial lines segment, progressing from Assistant Manager to senior leadership positions.
Prior to Aon, she also worked as a financial lines underwriter at American International Group and held positions at United Overseas Bank and Standard Chartered Bank.
“Her deep market relationships and technical expertise will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our FINEX platform and drive sustainable growth in Singapore,” Willis said.
The latest appointment follows the promotion of Han Wei Fong as WTW’s country leader for Singapore, announced in February. Earlier in January, the broker named Tushar Gupta as Head of FINEX India.
