360 Commercial has appointed Rachel Ihaka as its first Strategic Partnerships Manager, the managing general agent (MGA) announced in a statement.

Ihaka joined 360 Commercial after spending nearly 17 years at QBE, where she held leadership roles across New Zealand and Australia. Before joining QBE, she also served as a claims consultant for AA Insurance.

Based in the firm’s office in Auckland, Ihaka brings extensive experience in leading underwriting teams, relationship management, business operations, and portfolio management.  She will focus on building relationships with key broking partners to develop tailored solutions for New Zealand brokers, the MGA said.

Ryan Clark, Executive Director at 360 Commercial, expressed enthusiasm about Ihaka’s appointment, adding, “She will be stepping into a strategically important role with a mandate to drive our continued growth and success with our broker partners.”
