Allianz Commercial Japan has welcomed Darren Livengood to its team of directors and named him as general manager for claims, Tomoko Arata, the company’s head of human resources, announced on LinkedIn on 15 December.
Livengood joins Allianz Commercial Japan from HDI Global SE, where he served as head of claims. In his new role, he will focus on ensuring that claims made with the insurer are processed accurately and efficiently through streamlined operational procedures.
Livengood has more than 20 years of industry experience, including roles at Sedgwick as regional manager for Japan and Korea and catastrophe manager for Asia, as well as international programmes claims director at Zurich Insurance, according to his LinkedIn profile.
