SEADRIF Insurance Company has appointed Gillian Caparas as operations specialist, the organisation announced on LinkedIn on Thursday.
Based in Manila, Caparas joins the insurer from Rogue Union, where she most recently served as lead operations coordinator. She brings over seven years of operations and project management experience, having held similar roles at numerous tech startups, commercial firms, and impact-focused organisations.
“Gillian will support SEADRIF in managing core operations, compliance, and day-to-day coordination across our expanding portfolio. As SEADRIF grows, she’ll play a key role in keeping our systems strong and our delivery efficient,” the company said in its announcement.
The hire comes amid broader governance updates at SEADRIF. The company recently appointed international lawyer Mei Fern Johnson and former Singapore regulator Dr. Leow Yung Khee to its board of directors as it increases disaster risk financing activity across the region.
