Steamship Mutual has promoted Eric Wu to managing director, Greater China, the P&I insurer announced on LinkedIn on Thursday.
Based in Hong Kong, Wu has been with Steamship for over 16 years, most recently serving as director and head of underwriting, Eastern Syndicate. He has over 30 years of industry experience, having worked for The Swedish Club and Richards Hogg Lindley earlier in his career.
“Eric’s appointment underscores our long‑term commitment to the region and to supporting Members and partners through strong local leadership and expertise,” Steamship Mutual said in its announcement.
