Australia-based managing general agent, Miramar Commercial, has named Suki Chan and Sherman Chan as members of its commercial underwriting team, according to a LinkedIn announcement on Friday.
Suki Chan joins the company as a property underwriter – commercial. She brings over a decade of underwriting and risk assessment experience, with expertise spanning personal lines and commercial property.
Sherman Chan has been appointed as an underwriting support officer – commercial. She joins Miramar from Aon, where she worked as a service specialist. To her new role, she brings more than six years of experience in policy lifecycle processes and insurance documentation management.
The appointments come as The Miramar Group builds out its unified platform after bringing together seven underwriting agencies under one brand, a move aimed at streamlining services for brokers and widening access to specialised insurance solutions.
