Aon Malaysia has announced leadership movements, with Ming Hui Lim promoted to head of commercial risk solutions and Ram Lakhan Nandrajog elevated to chief broking officer and head of financial specialties, according to a LinkedIn post by chief executive officer Neelay Patel on Wednesday.

Lim joined Aon in 2018 and brings more than 20 years of industry experience, specialising in construction, power, and infrastructure. He has previously held various leadership roles at Marsh and Jardine Lloyd Thompson Malaysia.

Nandrajog, meanwhile, has been with the broker for more than eight years and has industry experience across cyber risk, financial lines, and casualty. Prior to joining Aon, he worked at MPI Generali Insurans and AIG.

Hui and Ram have both played a significant role in shaping our business, and I’ve seen firsthand the impact they have on our clients and colleagues,” Patel said. “I’m excited to work alongside them as we continue building a strong, locally led team for the future”

The latest movements follow the broker’s appointment of Patel, who returned to Malaysia as country CEO, effective as of March this year. It also follows the news earlier today that the business had named Masahito (Max) Hirai as its next Japan CEO, effective 30 June 2026, pending regulatory approval.
