WTW has appointed Andrew Morgan as director, expatriate and high-end medical solutions, Asia Pacific, the broker said in a LinkedIn post.

Morgan is based in Bangkok and started in the role in August, bringing with him 15 years experience in prviate medical insurance (PMI). He joined from Allianz Ayudhya, where he served as associate director, international PMI, at the insurer’s general insurance arm, managing its international PMI portfolio across individual, SME and large corporate business. Prior to that, he spent nine years at Aetna in Thailand.

“Andrew’s experience and insights will be invaluable as he helps strengthen our value proposition, enhance regional partnerships and support teams across Asia Pacific in delivering solutions for clients,” WTW said.

The appointment follows a run of hires at the broker in the region. WTW named Nicholas Tan and Daniel Teoh to lead its health and benefits business in Singapore, and recruited Bruce Tsoi from Marsh to head property and casualty for Hong Kong and Macau.
