Asian Reinsurance Corporation (Asian Re) has elected a new board and appointed Sumalee Satitchaichareon as Chairperson, the Thailand-headquartered reinsurer announced in a press release.
Satitchaichareon is the Deputy Director-General of the Fiscal Policy Office at the Ministry of Finance of Thailand.
The new management board of Asian Re comprises executives of four nationalities, Asian Re said. The reinsurer currently has ten regular founding member states: Thailand, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, India, Iran, the Philippines, South Korea, and Sri Lanka.
