Krungthai-AXA Life (KTAXA) has named Khun Knattapisit Krutkrongchai (KK) as its next Chief Executive Officer, effective from 3 February 2025.
In its announcement, KTAXA said that Krutkrongchai’s appointment will also makes him its first Thai CEO.
Prior to joining KTAXA, Krutkrongchai worked for AIA for over 15 years, with his most recent role being Chief Agency Officer in Thailand. He also held roles across Hong Kong and Macau, including as Chief Marketing Officer for three years between 2018 and 2020.
In his new role, Krutkrongchai will report directly to Sally O’Hara, Southeast Asia and Korea CEO. He brings extensive experience, having worked at businesses including GE Money Thailand, GE Capital Hong Kong, and AIG, according to LinkedIn.
“KK’s insights into local dynamics and culture will be crucial as we work to enhance our strategic goals across the region,” KTAXA said in its statement.
“With a purpose-led approach that resonates deeply with KTAXA’s longstanding commitment to putting customers first, KK is set to lead us into a promising future,” the Thai life insurer added.
