Jack Skinner joins Tokio Marine Kiln as APAC Head of Political Violence & Terrorism

Skinner to lead further expansion in key APAC markets.

Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has appointed Jack Skinner as Head of Political Violence & Terrorism for the Asia Pacific region, the specialty (re)insurer announced in a statement on Friday.

Skinner brings nearly ten years of experience in underwriting political violence and terrorism risks to the Lloyd’s player. He joins from Talbot, where he worked for two years in London followed by seven in Singapore and had been serving as Class Underwriter.

In its announcement, TMK said that its Political Violence & Terrorism segment is experiencing growth in the Asia Pacific region and Skinner will be responsible for further expansion in key markets, working alongside Grace Li, Political Violence and Terrorism Underwriter.

“We are excited to welcome Jack to the business as our new Head of Political Violence & Terrorism,” says Pavlos Spyropoulos, Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific. “He is a proven leader and his expertise will prove invaluable in supporting our constant drive to expand our capabilities and strengthen our offering.”
