Tom Burrell has been appointed as Head of Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions for the Pacific region at Marsh, according to a LinkedIn announcement by the business.

Burrell, who is now based in Sydney, joins from Marsh UK, where he spent over nine years in various leadership roles, including his most recent position as Head of Transaction Advisory.

In his new role at Marsh Pacific, Burrell will utilise his extensive experience in the private equity and M&A landscape, with a focus on transaction solutions across various risk areas.

“His commitment to supporting investors and their portfolios throughout the investment lifecycle, combined with his expertise in expanding transactional solutions across various risk areas, will be invaluable in driving success for our clients,” Marsh said in its announcement.

Prior to his tenure at Marsh, Burrell worked at Willis Towers Watson for nearly five years, holding roles including Project Manager in M&A Due Diligence and Project Executive for Global Solutions.
