AIG has named Thanathon Kiratipasuk as General Manager and CEO for its Thailand operations, APAC President Chris Colahan announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday.
Kiratipasuk joins after 13 years with Chubb, his second stint at the business, bringing with him nearly two decades of experience in the insurance industry.
“Khun Matt is a highly respected leader who brings a wealth of technical expertise, strong partner relationships, and extensive knowledge in managing both personal and commercial lines, including optimising distribution channels,” Colahan said.
Kiratipasuk’s appointment is effective immediately, subject to regulatory approval.
Isorasak Thesratanavong, who served as CEO of AIG Thailand, left the company in January this year to take up the role of CEO at ERGO Insurance’s Thai unit.
