Everest Insurance has announced the establishment of a desk dedicated to its Korean clients and appointed Brian Jee to lead the division, according to the company’s Asia head in a LinkedIn post on Wednesday.
Jee will also serve as the Senior Financial Underwriter of the new unit, which is expected to drive growth across all of the firm’s business lines in the Korean market.
Jee has been with Everest for the past two years, serving as a Senior Underwriter. Prior to joining, he worked for five years at Chubb in senior underwriting roles, and for nearly two years at NZI as an Account Manager.
Commenting on his appointment, Jee said: “I believe there are many exciting opportunities ahead for our business, and I’m committed to doing my best to help us grow and succeed.”
This personnel change follows another key appointment in June, when Himanshu Garg was promoted to APAC Head of New Business Initiatives.
