Everest Re has promoted Himanshu Garg as Head of New Business Initiatives APAC, as announced by Kevin Bogardus, the company’s Chief Executive for APAC, on LinkedIn.
Garg has been with Everest Re since 2018. In his new role, he will oversee reinsurance initiatives in the Asia Pacific region while continuing as Head of India.
Commenting on the promotion, Bogardus said: ” Himanshu has consistently demonstrated deep industry expertise, strategic thinking, and a strong track record of execution. Having worked closely with Himanshu, I’ve seen first-hand his exceptional work ethic, commitment, and drive to deliver results.”
“I have every confidence that his leadership will be instrumental in driving our continued success in the region,” Bogardus added.
His appointment follows Everest Reinsurance’s move in March to appoint Jason Koh as Head of Financial Risk, APAC.
