AXA XL has promoted Rob Elliott to underwriting manager for the property business, effective 1 October, Guillaume Parard, head of P&C Asia, said on LinkedIn today (29 September).
Based in Singapore, Elliott brings more than 14 years of underwriting and management experience to the role, with a background spanning the energy and chemicals sectors.
Elliott’s appointment adds further underwriting depth to AXA XL’s Asia operations as insurers continue to invest in specialist property expertise amid an increasingly complex risk environment.
The latest leadership announcement follows the elevation of Markus Posberg as chief underwriting officer, property, construction and energy for APAC and Europe earlier in September.
Separately, the specialty (re)insurer also brought Augustin Gas back to Singapore to head its Asia reinsurance unit.
